Melissa Crawford
Melissa Crawford is a highly regarded thought leader in the future of work, with a unique blend of expertise that spans both people and technology.
With a previous career spanning senior roles across some of New Zealand’s largest organisations, Melissa brings a wealth of experience from diverse industries including tech, airline, banking, FMCG, retail, education, and energy.
Earning two technology degrees and currently completing a master’s degree in psychology, Melissa brings a unique perspective to the impact of technology on the future of work. As the Director of Tech with Heart, she consults with companies on their transformation and future ready strategies, sits on a number of boards and advisory boards, speaks at global conferences and facilitates sessions to up-skill Lead teams on evolving psychology and technology trends.
Melissa is one of the most distinctive voices at the intersection of future technology, human psychology, and strategic foresight. With her degrees and formal foresight training from the Institute for the Future and the University of Houston, she brings genuine knowledge depth to the stage, not just trend-spotting. A certified futurist, member of the Association of Professional Futurists, and chartered member of both the Institute of Directors and HRNZ, Melissa operates globally through her company Tech with Heart.
Recognised on hotlists, winning Leadership and Person of the Year awards for her Future of work thought leadership, and most recently awarded the Emerging Director Award from the Institute of Directors, Melissa brings a track record that’s as compelling as her ideas.
