Melissa Crawford

Melissa Crawford is a highly regarded thought leader in the future of work, with a unique blend of expertise that spans both people and technology.

With a proven track record of success in senior HR strategy roles across some of New Zealand’s largest organizations, Melissa brings a wealth of experience from diverse industries including tech, airline, banking, FMCG, retail, education, and energy.

With two technology degrees and certification as a Metaverse Expert alongside her HR Strategy experience, Melissa brings a unique perspective to the impact of technology on the future of work.

She is deeply passionate about people and organisational psychology, understanding human impacts of future technologies and the evolving shape of the future of work. As the Director of Tech with Heart, she consults with companies on their future of work strategies, speaks at global conferences and facilitates sessions to up-skill HR Lead teams on the evolving psychology and technology trends. Melissa is also a CMInstD and CMHRNZ and serves on multiple boards across NZ and the US.

Melissa’s contributions to the field have earned her several recent accolades, including her listing on the 2024 & 2023 HRD Hotlist, her win as the 2022 HRNZ Leadership Award winner, and her title as the overall winner of the HRNZ HR Person of the Year in 2022.
